Caroline Obolensky
Psychotherapist & EMDR Practitioner & Clinical Supervisor.
Often people come to therapy in times of crisis, or when they find themselves back in a familiar situation, repeating patterns of behaviour that has a negative impact on their lives. Whether you are looking for someone to talk to at a point where things are difficult, or just want to explore thoughts and feelings; psychotherapy can help make sense of your situation.

I work in private practice for clients wanting to access therapy on a self-referral basis. I am also a registered psychotherapist with BUPA and AXA, for insurance covered therapeutic treatment.

About Me
Brighton Therapist
I am an experienced psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. The way I work is by helping clients explore the deeper emotional patterns and experiences that shape how they relate to themselves and others. While it can be helpful to look at surface-level symptoms, I provide a safe, reflective space in which my clients can make sense of where these issues have come from and how to change to be a more authentic self, with resilience and self-awareness. Often this can be from our early years experiences and how we have learnt to navigate our way in the world as a result. By working from a psychodynamic and relational perspective, this process helps develop a greater self awareness, emotional insight and the ability to foster change or acceptance.

I specialise in working with complex trauma, gender identity, ADHD, autism, relationships, and anxiety.
